Four platforms, live and in use

One of my own and three for clients through JB Services, each taken from the brief to a live domain. What each one had to do, and what I built to do it.

On-demand 3D printing marketplace. My own product

3D Hub Plus

Someone with a photo, a model file or nothing at all should be able to get a physical part made without owning a printer. Makers with idle printers should be able to bid for that work and get paid once the buyer is happy with it.

What I built

  • A two-sided marketplace: the customer uploads a model, picks a material and a budget, verified makers bid a price and a lead time, and the buyer compares bids and accepts one.
  • Held-payment checkout on Stripe. The card is charged at checkout, the funds are held until the buyer approves photos of the finished part, then the maker is paid.
  • Maker verification and onboarding: phone confirmation over Twilio SMS, a printer on file and a business-detail review, feeding a searchable directory with a map, state filters, and sorting by rating and completion rate.
  • A fixed-price gift shop and browser-based Three.js studios (lithophane, photo sculpture, cookie cutter, monogram keychain) that reprice live as the design changes, no account required.
  • Order tracking from print to delivery, with transactional email through Mailgun that carries the tracking number the moment the label is bought.

Autonomous vehicle engineering firm. Houston, Dubai and Egypt

CompuMak Engineering

An engineering services firm working on autonomous driving needed a site that explains its services to other engineers, lists hardware for quote and takes enquiries, and that the firm can edit without calling a developer.

What I built

  • WordPress with a custom theme and Elementor for the page layouts, so the firm rearranges sections and edits copy itself.
  • Service pages for autonomous driving development, modeling and simulation, teleoperation and vehicle testing, down to the instrumented test vehicle.
  • A parts catalog for LiDAR, GNSS and NVIDIA compute hardware that leads to a quote request rather than a cart, since every order is a custom configuration.
  • Careers and contact pages, and a quote request form.

Live Lebanese cooking course, sold online

Her Highness Kitchen

Cinderella sells a four-week live Lebanese cooking course. Wix already handled the storefront and the card payment. Everything after the payment did not exist: no record of who was in which cohort, no schedule email, no reminders.

What I built

  • A storefront in Astro, rendered on Cloudflare Pages, that pulls products, cart and checkout from Wix Headless. The client keeps the Wix dashboard she already knows.
  • A payment webhook, verified against Wix's public signing key, that records each paid order as an enrollment in Cloudflare D1 against the active cohort.
  • A welcome email through Resend with a calendar file attached, one event per session, in the cohort's timezone.
  • A password-protected admin dashboard to open cohorts, see enrollments, send each week's reminder and edit the reminder wording.
  • A contact form behind Turnstile, a honeypot and a fill-time check, plus an origin check on every request that writes.

Mediterranean food truck, Houston

Meal Box

One truck, a short menu, a different corner of Houston most days. The site had two jobs: say what is cooking and where the truck is, and give the window a QR decal that opens the menu.

What I built

  • A Next.js static export on Cloudflare Pages. No server to keep up; the whole site is a folder of files behind Cloudflare's cache.
  • One typed content module for the menu, the week’s stops, contact and socials. An empty value hides its own section, so nothing renders a placeholder or an invented price.
  • A print page that generates the menu QR code with the quiet zone the spec requires and downloads it as SVG for the decal cutter.
  • The neon sign traced from a photo into vector, with the glow drawn as an SVG filter instead of upscaled pixels. Six phone photos of dishes cut out, tone-matched and re-seated on one surface so they read as one shoot.
  • An audit pass that replaced template content with the real menu, fixed twelve layout and navigation bugs, brought contrast to WCAG AA and self-hosted the fonts.

MarketKit, an AI product-marketing platform

A multi-tenant platform that turns a product listing or a few photos into a campaign: copy, images, reels, posts and clips. Then it publishes, and runs the paid side.

  • FastAPI and Celery backend with a Next.js dashboard under Docker Compose. An OpenAPI-generated TypeScript client fails the build on contract drift.
  • The Launchpad flow generates platform-specific ad copy, images, reels, posts and clips from a product listing or photos, through the Claude API and a versioned prompt registry.
  • Video three ways: a local ffmpeg live-photo renderer, hosted image-to-video on fal.ai, and a disposable ComfyUI GPU pod on RunPod running Wan 2.2, SDXL and Real-ESRGAN.
  • Social publishing (compose, queue, calendar, publish) and paid-ads management (campaigns, spend, insights) on the Meta Graph API, with a spend guard that caps budget automatically.
  • An agentic module for replayable multi-step AI runs, a Three.js print studio for 3D-printable product designs, and a guard test suite that enforces module boundaries.

Developer Dashboard, internal tools and automation

An 18-tool workspace over one data layer, with a browser-automation service behind it. Built to move and maintain e-commerce catalogs without hand work.

  • A shared Prisma data layer of 52 models, and a Node, Express and Playwright automation service with scheduled runs, an admission queue that caps concurrent browsers and staggers same-host runs, orphan-run recovery and age-based retention.
  • BigCommerce catalog migration: CSV-to-JSON with field mapping, throttled bulk pushes of options, modifiers, variants, custom fields and metafields, and a bidirectional full-product import and export with dry-run diffs and merge or mirror modes.
  • Versioned product snapshots in the database with diff-then-restore, so a bulk push can be rolled back safely. A transactional email-template manager for BigCommerce stores with partials, brand detection and live previews.
  • A declarative workflow crawler with twelve step types, site profiles, auto-detection and LLM-assisted extraction, run by a node-cron scheduler with a time budget per run.

Interactive AV studio management system

A web interface that drives real hardware. Audio and video devices switched live or on a schedule, down to the firmware on the relay board.

  • Manages audio and video devices in real time from the browser.
  • Cron scheduling sets device power state across defined time slots. You can watch job status and create new ones from the UI.
  • The ESP8266 firmware, in embedded C++ on the Arduino framework, serves a built-in control page and a JSON over HTTP API for relay control and device status.

About

The short version

I'm a senior full-stack developer in Houston. Most of the work is frontend: React, Next.js and TypeScript, plus the Node services sitting behind them, and C#, ASP.NET Web API and SQL Server where the backend called for it.

Six years and change, most of it on e-commerce platforms and the internal tools nobody demos: a jQuery codebase moved onto React, dashboards, payments and third-party integrations, and a lot of hours on why a page takes four seconds to load.

Through JB Services I build platforms for clients end to end, from the brief to a live domain. 3D Hub Plus, an on-demand 3D printing marketplace, is my own product.

I work AI-first. Claude Code and Copilot agents do the scaffolding, refactoring, tests and first-pass review, and I gate what ships. I also build product features on the Claude and OpenAI APIs.

I work closely with backend developers and with whoever asked for the feature in the first place. That second part matters more than it sounds.

  • A small web studio. I take a client from the brief to a live domain: design, build, content, DNS and deploy.
  • Shipped the three client platforms in the Work section: a Wix Headless storefront with a custom course back office, a food truck site with its QR system, and a WordPress site for an engineering firm.
  • The aftercare too: content changes, an admin dashboard where the client needs one, and the fix when a framework upgrade changes behaviour.

  • Built and maintained more than ten custom features across e-commerce platforms, mostly in the conversion and checkout flows.
  • Moved a legacy jQuery codebase onto React. Performance improved and maintenance time dropped by about 60%.
  • Built reusable component libraries and modular dashboards, first in vanilla JS, later in React with Tailwind and SCSS.
  • Connected the UI to server-side functionality over REST and GraphQL with the backend engineers, and wired in third-party libraries and analytics.
  • Optimized page performance and load speed across the storefronts.
  • Code reviews, and bringing peers up on React practice.

  • Built the resource-matching engine in T-SQL: stored procedures that match a prospective business to the resources available to it from its survey answers.
  • Designed the SQL Server tables and wrote the C# services and ASP.NET Web API controllers behind surveys and completed-survey management, with the React screens to match.
  • Authentication end to end: client-side validation, the API endpoints and the C# services for registration and login.
  • Survey components wired to the API for live responses, a business details page for account information, and file uploads through the AWS SDK.
  • Two-week sprints with stand-ups, backlog grooming, retrospectives, code review and CI builds.
